This first week of school was quite busy, as I started classes and started working. For the past 2 days I've been meeting with clients and preparing their taxes, and what we are finding is that many, many places of employment are behind on sending out their W-2's - which is frustrating many. I was a bit nervous sitting down with a client by myself for the first time, and I did make a couple of dumb, but easily corrected mistakes, but since then everything has run smoothly.
In other news, I checked one of my credit reports using annualcreditreport.com. Everything checked out smoothly there, and I will check on the other 2 bureaus throughout the year. At some point, I would like to pay for my credit score as well, just to see where I am.
Also, I am signing a lease for the next (and final) school year tomorrow, and the total cost comes out to: $925 for rent, $86 internet/cable, and about $100 in other utilities/fees. This will be split 2 ways, and is for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It will be nice to have my own private bathroom next year, and the living, dining, and kitchen area are quite large. My share will be about $550 a month or so, which is less than I am paying now, but I have to sign a 1-year lease at this complex, and I know that I will not be spending next summer here after graduating, so I am hoping that I will find a subleaser in due time.
For the rest of the long weekend, I've got to get going on some homework already, watching some hockey, and relaxing!

Don't forget that you can get your TransUnion credit score for free from CreditKarma.com! I just started using it at the end of last month, but I'm extremely impressed by it, as far as free services go.
