Apartment Search

For the past couple days a friend and I have been looking for an apartment for next school year, and because we have waited quite awhile to do so, most apartments real close to campus are taken - meaning a very long walk or bus ride to campus. We enjoyed one of the town homes we looked at, but there is a short waiting list on it, and we are required to put down $300 to be on the list - with no time line as to when we would receive notice of availability, and if we opt out, we lose the $300. It's a shame, because we really liked the place. I am going to try and see if we can negotiate the wait list fee, and will continue looking elsewhere.

I have essentially completed my training and should begin working with clients next week. Training payment is a set $320, paid if we remain with the company until the end of the month, and considering our training has only lasted about 20 hours, with a couple more hours to go, this $320 will be a better rate than the normal $10 an hour I'll be making when I start the actual work. That was pretty exciting to hear.
