Monday morning I begin training for the job I will hold throughout next semester, helping a local firm during tax season. I should be able to work about 25 hours a week, making a whopping $10 an hour. Hopefully, I will be able to sock away most of the money I make, as I don't see, at this time, too many expenses in the coming semester that won't be covered with my dedicated savings.
I see this position as a great experience and learning opportunity before heading into my summer internship, with the prospect of a full-time career offer upon completion. An added bonus is the cash I'll be able to earn. Win-win for me.
Busy semester ahead: 19 credits and 25+ work hours. Looking forward to May already :)
